The Company
Fashion Loop is a circular fashion rental service created to challenge overconsumption within the fashion industry. Instead of purchasing new garments for every occasion, users can rent curated fashion pieces from an collection of styles. The concept aims to extend the lifespan of clothing while offering a more flexible and sustainable way to engage with fashion for a new generation of consumers.
Background
The fashion industry is one of the world's largest contributors to overconsumption and textile waste. New trends encourage consumers to buy more clothing at a faster pace, while many garments are only worn a few times before being discarded. Although fashion rental services already exist, many are communicated through sustainability-focused messaging rather than fashion itself. We identified a disconnect between circular consumption and contemporary fashion culture, where sustainable alternatives can feel uninspiring or disconnected from the aspirational experience of fashion brands. This insight became the foundation for Fashion Loop. We wanted to create a concept where circular fashion feels desirable, modern and visually relevant by combining aesthetics through sustainable consumption.
Solution
Fashion Loop was developed as a digital fashion rental concept designed to make circular fashion feel more trustworthy, desirable and visually relevant within contemporary fashion culture. The project focused on creating a clearer and more curated user experience through a refined visual identity, editorial imagery, motion design and campaign-based storytelling. The concept aims to position fashion rental as a natural part of modern fashion consumption rather than an alternative niche service. The platform allows users to browse, rent and return garments through a rotating wardrobe system that offers access to style without the need for constant ownership. In addition to the digital concept, the project also explored communication strategies, social media content and brand positioning designed to increase engagement, trust and visibility.
