Friction Festival
Berghs Festival 2026 was two days of student work, music, food, and installations unfolding across the school. Twenty-two graduation projects and individual works created by 142 graduating students, and one question running underneath it all: what becomes possible when you add friction?
The people behind the festival
Berghs Festival is created by students from across different programs. Nothing arrived fully formed. Every room, every installation, every DJ set, every painted wall, and every detail was sketched, tested, questioned, rebuilt, and brought to life by the people credited below. Alongside them stood a group of Berghs staff who supported the process, pushed ideas forward, opened doors, and stayed long after hours. To them, we say thank you.
