The Company

Peak Performance is a Swedish outdoor and ski apparel brand founded in Åre in 1986, known for combining technical function with a distinctly Scandinavian design language. In this project, Peak Performance provides the brand context for exploring how AI-driven workflows can support and accelerate the production of visual content for an established outdoor lifestyle brand.

Background

Outdoor and lifestyle brands rely heavily on a constant flow of visual content to support campaigns, product launches and digital channels. Traditional production methods are time-consuming, costly and dependent on photoshoots, locations and post-production. At the same time, generative AI has rapidly matured into a viable tool for producing high-quality product imagery, environments and brand visuals. The project builds on the insight that AI-supported workflows could exstend assets and help make more content. The case investigates whether AI can be integrated into a real brand pipeline without compromising on quality or consistency.

Solution

The project is presented as an interactive web-based "book" that presents nine different AI workflows tailored for Peak Performance, each demonstrating a use case for AI-generated brand content. The site is built as a digital portfolio where each workflow can be explored as its own chapter, combining visual examples, tool breakdowns and explanations of the production process behind all the results. The workflows cover everything from product imagery and environmental scenes to campaign visuals and sketch to product, showing how generative AI can be applied across different parts of a brand's visual production. The web experience is designed to function both as a proof of concept and as a presentation tool, allowing visitors to understand not only what was created, but how each workflow was constructed and why. The aim is to show that AI-supported content production can be a feasible and creatively credible complement to traditional methods within an established outdoor brand context.
